I’m a strength and conditioning coach based in Ipswich, been in the industry since 2011.

When I started my weight loss journey back in 2011 I was an overweight lorry driver, unhealthy, unhappy and developing a condition because of my size    (I was 20+ stone) I smoked a lot, I drank a lot and binged on food all day. For health reasons I had to find a personal trainer who showed me a better way and helped me become healthy losing 7 stone in the first year.

I made the choice to became a qualified trainer 4 years ago, and a Strength and Conditioning coach 2 years later so I can help people the way my trainer helped me.
Using the most up to date knowledge and science backed training methods I have had the pleasure to help some amazing clients with behavioural change helping them to lose weight, increase performance and lead a healthier life.

Weight loss is about changing your lifestyle as much as training, what you do in the gym is only 7% of your day! You also need to change the other 93%, something I learnt the hard way so you don’t have to!

    Been training with Shaun since Feb this year… haven’t been this strong/fit ever. Can’t thank him and his programmes enough. Amazing guy and training is never dull !

    I’ve been training with Shaun for over a year, and I can say he is the best PT I’ve ever experienced. Very knowledgeable, and great and pushing you when you need it. Adapts training as and when you need, as per your own goals. Honestly a brilliant PT and 100% would recommend to anyone, whether wanting sport specific goals, weight loss, or just want to get fitter/leaner etc.

    I started training with Shaun 2 weeks ago on a Strength and conditioning,powerlifting program to increase my strength and numbers on the big lifts.I’m already feeling the benefits (and aches in muscles I never knew I had).Even after 15 years of training I’m still learning more about training and programming thanks to Shaun. He always pushes and encourage me to reach my best and is always ready to answer any questions I have about training,nutrition etc,I’m also looking to become a qualified Strength And Conditioning coach myself which I’m currently studying through the FTC Academy where Shaun is also my mentor.

    I train with Shaun and he has helped me achieve my goals and opened my eyes to many other ways to use the gym than what I was used to, thanks to him I have a very good understanding of what I need to do to get where I want to be. He is friendly, approachable and pushes you every session.

    You absolutely MUST train with Shaun. He has a massive, fun personality, his knowledge in the field is second to none & his passion to help you reach your goal(s) is always evident. The Mrs & I originally only wanted a PT for a year to help us on our way, but we still have goals to reach & wouldn’t even THINK of training with anyone else.

    Simply put, Shaun is a great trainer!
    Friendly, motivating, knowledgable and always happy to help with anything.
    Over my first 12 weeks of training with Shaun, I made the best and biggest results I’d probably ever had in my 10+ years of training.
    I couldn’t recommend him more and I’ll certainly continue training with him.
